Holy Family Catholic Church "Be Jesus, who leads us to heaven" |
What is Generations of Faith? It is an intergenerational program; that means it’s for the entire family. When does it meet? GOF meets once a month, usually on the 2nd Sunday of the month, however, schedule my change due to other events happening. What do we do? We gather for snacks, everyone comes together for great talks and discussion, we break up into age groups for activities and then we come back together and share on what we have learned. Sounds like fun! Grab your family members and join us! Here’s what some parishioners had to say about Generations of Faith: “I have wanted to involve my entire family in something. Generations of Faith gave my family this opportunity. We gather as a whole and then break out into sessions according to our learning levels, and then come together again to share what we learned! AND not only to we get spiritually fed, but we also get physically fed! This is really great!” (Cristina Harvey) “I like Generations of Faith because I get to learn about God and Jesus in a fun way. We do activities that help me understand about God. I like it because I get to come with my family. I also like the hotdogs.” (Briana Hernandez) “As a cradle Catholic, I have taken for granted the beauty of this tradition. Sometimes we forget and we need a refresher course; Generations of Faith is just what we need to help folks like me. I look forward to every month to learn something new or like I said just to get re-acquainted with my faith.” (Sara Guajardo) |
