• Fortnight of Prayer
  Bishop Mulvey is calling for a “Fortnight of Prayer and Fasting for Religious Freedom” from June 21st to July 4th. The United States Catholic Bishops are calling on all Catholics to prayer and fasting in these days to protect our American Ideal of Religious Freedom as guaranteed by our Constitution and Bill of Rights. This is to coincide with the Feasts of Saints Peter and Paul, St. John the Baptist, Saint Thomas More and St. John Fisher, along with St. Irenaus and the First Martyrs of the Holy Roman Church, all of whom stood up to proclaim their faith in Jesus Christ and their personal freedom to religious liberty. Holy Family Church will have a special “Two Days of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for Religious Freedom “beginning on Sunday July 1, 2012 after the 6:00 PM Mass until ending at the 6:00 PM Mass on Tuesday July 3, 2012.


• Please mark your calendars for the Graduation Mass of Thanksgiving at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 27. We invite all College, High School and Trade SchoolGraduates to attend this special Mass of Thanksgiving. Please be here by 5:30 p.m. on May 27. • The High School youth of our parish are sponsoring a BBQ plate dinner on May 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to help raise needed funds to attend the Steubenville South Catholic Conference in Alexandria, Louisiana. The plates consist of: Chicken, Rice, Beans, Potato Salad and a slice of bread. Tickets are $6.00 each. Be on the lookout for teens selling tickets or you can come by the Parish Office to purchase it. Please ask for Julia or Irene. Thank you for your support.


• El Ministerio de jóvenes de nuestra parroquia está patrocinando un plato de comida barbacoa el domingo, 27 de mayo a las 11 de la mañana a las 2 de la tarde para ayudar a recaudar los fondos necesarios para asistir a la Conferencia Católica de Steubenville Sur en Alexandria, Louisiana. • May is the Month of the Rosary so throughout May, the Rosary will be prayed every Monday through Friday at 5:00 p.m., Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. All are invited, especially those children who will be making their First Communion. Please join us to honor our Blessed Mother.
